Abrolhos Island Charters are 100% local with 30 years experience at the Abrolhos Islands and we pride ourselves on our cuisine of seafood delights. We specialize in adventure trips and tours to the Abrolhos Islands. Our trips are catered for eco-tours, fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling or surfing. We also cater to research and scientific study groups.
Let Captain Jay, your friendly skipper of the Rat Patrol, take you to play in his favourite playground, the Abrolhos Islands. He has been operating in these waters for the past 30 years and knows them like the back of his hand. Jay can take you to some of the gnarliest surf breaks, the most secret fishing locations, spectacular dive and snorkeling reefs or simply to a deserted beach to soak up the sun.
Our 60 foot aluminium charter boat is equipped with air conditioned cabins, fully equipped galley, ladies and gents toilets and showers TV/DVD/CD/video fresh water decelinator at 200 litres per hour. we also have a dive compressor which fills 2 bottles in 18 minutes, there is a alli dingy on the roof with a 15hp motor and hi-ab to pull it on and off. We tow a 6 metre inflatable Zodiac with us which has a 80hp yamaha 4 stroke on it with a top speed of 30 knots and has vhf radio and echo sounder fitted. our wheelhouse is fitted out with state of the art electronics, safety gear includes 25 and 6 man life rafts and all other survey requirements. The 1000kg freezer on the deck is ample to keep all the catch frozen. All the gear needed to make your adventure tour an unforgettable experience.
