Jay/Skipper/Cook Extraordinaire
Jay has spent 33 years crayfishing and fishing at the Abrolhos Islands and in the last 5 years has operated the Rat Patrol full time chartering.
During his time at the Abrolhos he has surfed, fished, snorkelled, explored and knows the area like the back of his hand. From an early age Jay has had a passion for cooking, with seafood being his speciality. Our passengers are more than impressed with his culinary skills with some returning just for the food. He loves to share his knowledge of the local history and tell the many stories that he has accumulated from the years spent as a local in these enchanting waters. Jay has his Senior First Aid, Advanced Resuscitation and carries a defibrillator and an oxy-viva onboard at all times along with an advanced marine 1st Aid Kit. We are fully equipped to ensure customer safety and well being.

The Abrolhos is his play ground and there would be very few people with the knowledge and experience that he has acquired.

Sonia/Office Manager
Sonia works behind the scenes with bookings for clients and also takes care of the accounts, invoicing, quoting, bookkeeping and general enquiries and she also prepares our delicious homemade delights for our morning teas.

Between the two of them they bring together a professional, 1st class charter operation.
